PRPD Conference App Now Available

Attending the upcoming PRPD Public Radio Programming Conference in Portland?  Trying to decide?  Just curious?  You can now download the official conference App from iTunes and Google Play.  The app contains the complete schedule of session, events, meals and entertainment.  Lists of Attendees, Speakers and Exhibitors are also included with maps to help you get to evening performances.

This year, PRPD is doing away with the printed conference booklet (in the spirit of our eco-friendly host city).  With the savings on printing, we will be able to provide free wi-fi both in guest rooms and in conference session areas.

There's still time to pre-register for the conference - CLICK HERE to Register.  Pre-conference registration and rates end next Thursday, September 4.   Unfortunatley, the sleeping rooms in our conference hotel and overflow hotel are sold out.  We did check today and individual rooms can be found at Kayak.com, Hotels.com, airbnb.com and other such sites.  (PRPD has no arrangement with any such sites and takes no responsibility for such bookings.)

And don't forget that light rail runs directly from the airport to the hotel (no transfers) for just $2.50.
