Public Radio Aquisitions Reported



All Access is reporting on a several public radio transactions.
  • American University, which owns WAMU in Washington, D.C. is purchasing WWED  from Educational Media Corp. in Spotsylvania, VA. Sale price is reportedly $375,000.
  • The University of Washington assigns KEXP, Seattle, to Friends of KEXP for more than $4 million in on-air and digital underwriting/advertising over 10 years.
  • New Hampshire Public Radio purchased classical WCNH, Bow Center, for $75,000.
