Changes at Pacifica

The Tom Taylor Now newsletter reports on some Pacifica goings on:

• WBAI in New York City may be moving its transmitter from the Empire State Building to a Times Square location, which "will save 'almost two-thirds' of the current cost." 
• WPFW in Washington, D.C. may relocate its studios to 1990 K Street. WPFW is also seeking a PD and GM.
• KPFA in Berkley, Calif. has hired Fred Reed Jr. a.k.a Quincy McCoy as the new general manager. He starts July 7.
