WDET's Fahle Moving On

Craig Fahle, host of WDET, Detroit's Craig Fahle Show and interim co-GM will be leaving the station to become director of public affairs for the Detroit Land Bank;Authority.  According to the Detroit News, "The Detroit Land Bank acquires troubled houses and property in the city, and is running the “Neighbors Wanted” campaign, auctioning the properties off to new owners to stabilize neighborhoods."

Craig's program ran from 9am-noon Monday - Friday.  His last day will be August 8.

A letter from Fahle is posted on the WDET website.  Co-GM Michelle Srbnovich was quoted in the Detroit News:
“We’re really excited for Craig,” Srbinovich said. As far as a replacement for the Fahle show: “We’re going to take our time deciding,” she said. “We want to make sure to take our time to reflect on what’s available to us, and what best serves the audience, possibly a local/national partnership.”
