PRI On the Move: Take Over New Space in Early 2010

Come early next year, Public Radio International (PRI), will set up shop in creator the former Textile Building in downtown Minneapolis' historic Warehouse District.

PRI's new digs will be located at the corner of Second Avenue North and Fourth Street. According to a news release from PRI, plans include "... space to showcase PRI hosts and content, and to engage Minnesotans in conversations that connect global issues with local concerns. By pairing in-person engagement with the best that digital technology and social networks have to offer, this public venue will be able to function as vibrantly as a virtual arena as it does a physical space."

PRI will take over the fifth floor of the 109-year-old building, as well as part of the first floor.

PRI now leases about 18,000 square feet on the ninth floor of Butler Square.
