Jeff Clarke, president and CEO of KQED, San Francisco, announced his retirement Tuesday. He has been at KQED since 2002 and been in broadcasting for 44 years.
Clarke, who is 62, will remain in his post until June 30 of next year or until a successor is named. He told The San Francisco Chronicle, "... the time has come for me to go and do some other things I enjoy in life."
